The Casa dello Scirocco is an 18th century building located on the farm estate. It was carved out of a large, pre-historic cave where thermal baths were built during the Roman era. 
The house has a very unusual cooling system: water from the source is diverted into small channels that run between the surrounding rocks and the brick walls, cooling the warm wind blowing in from north Africa. Accompanied by one of our guides, guests can visit the house-cum-museum. 
There are three different types of guest rooms, all scattered around the citrus grove: the ‘baglio complex il baglio, the grottos la grotta, and the rustic houses la casa rurale. The area where the farm company’s headquarters are located also plays host to a restaurant, a swimming pool, a bowling green, a grass pitch for five-a-side football and a large play park for the youngsters.
